by Alex M. Vikoulov "Time is not a thing that exists and passes, but an act that we perform and a force that we exert." — Thomas Mann Time, as one of the most enigmatic aspects of human experience, has long been a subject of fascination and study across disciplines. From physicists grappling with the intricacies of spacetime to philosophers pondering its subjective nature, time continues to challenge our understanding. Yet, recent developments in neuroscience, quantum physics, and consciousness studies invite us to reconsider the very foundations of temporal mechanics. Instead of treating time as an immutable backdrop to reality, these insights suggest a far more dynamic and interconnected role for time, consciousness, and the fabric of the universe itself. This exploration of temporal mechanics through the lens of the D-Theory of Time seeks to unravel these connections and place consciousness at the heart of temporal reality.

by Alex Vikoulov “Old Newtonian physics claimed that things have an objective reality separate from our perception of them. Quantum physics, and particularly Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle, reveal that, as our perception of an object changes, the object itself literally changes.” –Marianne Williamson Listen to this article ↴ In the intricate landscape of consciousness studies, an interdisciplinary confluence of scientific inquiry, philosophical speculation, and elements of techno-mysticism emerges. This exploration aims to challenge conventional paradigms and proffer a multifaceted examination of the nature of the conscious mind. Among the humongous spectrum of available first-person experiences, the act of selecting a singular manifest phenomenon for awareness yields what I call a Conscious Instant (CI). A sequence of these perceptual frames constitutes what is generally known as the "stream of consciousness," which creates your continuous flow of time and your unitary sensation of reality. The only experiential time is NOW. Our phenomenal minds spring into existence at increments of conscious instants. The sequence of these Nows constitutes our "stream" of consciousness. D-Theory of Time, or Digital Presentism, is predicated on reversible quantum computing at large and gives us a coherent theoretical framework on the nature of time. In the absence of observers, the arrow of time doesn’t exist -- there’s no cosmic flow of time. Instead, each conscious observer is a digital pattern flowing within a multidimensional matrix. by Oberon Zell "Spiritually inclined rationalists may view this ongoing evolutionary process as one of 'Theogenesis'… On a long billions-of-years evolutionary journey from the first primordial prokaryote to a Solaris-like planetary mind, we’re merely years away from this cardinal metamorphosis." --Alex Vikoulov, Theology of Digital Physics (2019)
THE EARTH MOTHER IN HUMAN CULTURES “Of Earth I sing, eldest of all and Mother of the Gods...” So begins the Homeric Hymn to Gaea, the Earth Mother. Gaea is the name given by the ancient Greeks to the primordial planetary goddess worshipped by humanity since the dawn of the Stone Age. The original form of Her name, Ge (Γε), is the root of the names of the Earth sciences, geology, geophysics and geography, as well as geode, geometry, geomancy, etc. Even small children intuitively know Mother Earth or Mother Nature. She is the oldest and most universal religious archetype in all of human experience. Images and figurines of Her date back to the Cro-Magnon Aurignacian peoples of over 30,000 years ago, and are found across the Eurasian continent from Spain to Siberia. In Hesiod's Theogony, Gaea was created by Light and by Love from the primal cosmic Chaos. Her first offspring was Uranus, the Heavens. Pierced by the arrows of Eros, Gaea gave birth to all the plants, animals, Titans, Gods and Goddesses, and of course the human race. So Gaea is the Mother of us all, according to Greek mythology. by Elizabeth Titovskaya "Life is a state of consciousness." ―Emmet Fox
Life is an integrated flow of quantum computational processes giving rise to our conscious experience. Based on the ontological model, the Cybernetic Theory of Mind by evolutionary cyberneticist Alex Vikoulov that he expands on in his magnum opus The Syntellect Hypothesis: Five Paradigms of the Mind’s Evolution, comes a new documentary ― Consciousness: Evolution of the Mind. This film, hosted by the author of the book from which the narrative is derived, is now available for viewing on demand on Vimeo, Plex, Tubi, Social Club TV and other global networks with its worldwide premiere aired on June 8, 2021. This is a futurist's take on the nature of consciousness and reverse engineering of our thinking in order to implement it in cybernetics and AI systems. by Alex Vikoulov "Observations not only disturb what is to be measured, they produce it." ―Pascual Jordan In search for a unifying quantum gravity theory that would reconcile general relativity with quantum theory, it turns out quantum theory is more fundamental, after all. Quantum mechanical principles, some physicists argue, apply to all of reality (not only the realm of ultra-tiny), and numerous experiments confirm that assumption. After a century of Einsteinian relativistic physics gone unchallenged, a new kid of the block, Computational Physics, one of the frontrunners for quantum gravity, states that spacetime is a flat-out illusion and that what we call physical reality is actually a construct of information within [quantum neural] networks of conscious agents. In light of the physics of information, computational physicists eye a new theory as an “It from Qubit” offspring, necessarily incorporating consciousness in the new theoretic models and deeming spacetime, mass-energy as well as gravity emergent from information processing. by Alex Vikoulov “Consciousness cannot be accounted for in physical terms. For consciousness is absolutely fundamental. It cannot be accounted for in terms of anything else.” ―Erwin Schrödinger WHAT IS CONSCIOUSNESS? Consciousness remains scientifically elusive because it constitutes layers upon layers of non-material emergence: Reverse-engineering our thinking should be done in terms of networks, modules, algorithms and second-order emergence – meta-algorithms, or groups of modules. Neuronal circuits correlate to “immaterial” cognitive modules, and these cognitive algorithms, when activated, produce meta-algorithmic conscious awareness and phenomenal experience, all in all at least two layers of emergence on top of “physical” neurons. Furthermore, consciousness represents certain transcendent aspects of projective ontology, according to the now widely accepted Holographic Principle. |

A quote on the go"When I woke up one morning I got poetically epiphanized: To us, our dreams at night feel “oh so real” when inside them but they are what they are - dreams against the backdrop of daily reality. Our daily reality is like nightly dreams against the backdrop of the larger reality. This is something we all know deep down to be true... The question then becomes how to "lucidify" this dream of reality?"— Alex M. Vikoulov Public Forums Our Custom GPTs
