The author both educates and enlightens us. The book is an unveiling of what Alex Vikoulov calls the 'Digital Ontology,' where the binary code, fractal geometry and 'sentient networks of networks' combine to form the true reality framework at the core of existence.

Our fears of a physical apocalypse caused by climate change, nuclear annihilation or enslavement by super-intelligent robots are negated in the optimism of an all information experiential matrix and universal entity. He draws the reader into the virtual but ultra-realistic world with newly-minted terms like Linguistic Singularity, Worldware, Technosphere, Simulation Singularity, Experiential Realism, Digital Pantheism, Universal Causal Diamond and Noodimensions, all culminating in the Omega Overmind.

With 'Theology of Digital Physics,' Vikoulov unites the two main roads to humanity’s material future: Quantum Physics and Artificial Intelligence. But it is this unity itself, he argues, that connects us to the spiritual. I say, 'connects' and not 'will connect' because the digital future is already here. The discrete moment is already part of whole reality because it is a 'conscious instant.' Consciousness and information are one and the same in a reality that is fundamentally Information. Information’s touchstone is the single bit. But that single bit is not singular, it is a 1 or 0, a yes or no. If I understand him correctly, existence self-programs itself with the free choice of binary logic, forever expanding the Whole, from the infinite to the 'adjacent possible' which is by definition a natural quantum computation.

The locality of old fashioned, relative space-time is superseded by the non-locality of both quantum entanglement and the absolute creation of meaning from information’s inherent distinguishing of anything. Consciousness is the wave collapse of the quantum realm, continually presenting the physical world as the interface of virtual reality. In fact, physics and the simulation of physics don’t differ in kind but only in 'the degree of precision.'

Experience is phenomenal, and phenomena are a stream of data. It is this epigenetic evolution of conscious experience that breaks free of the biological evolution of our physical bodies and into the collective 'consensus' reality of intersubjectivity. The meme, the 'replicating information pattern,' replaces the biological gene in the 'noosphere,' a cognitive layer of the planet, where learning and data evolve together. Intersubjective experience means we will live in infinite realities of our choosing, sharing everyone’s memories as entangled minds.
