If you’re eager to familiarize with probably the most advanced ontological framework to date or if you’re already familiar with the Syntellect Hypothesis which, with this series, is now presented to you as the full-fledged Syntellect Theory of Mind, you should get ahold of this book one of the series which corresponds to Part I of The Syntellect Hypothesis: Five Paradigms of the Mind's Evolution. This book one is a tad more technical in comparison; it contains some newly-introduced and updated material if compared with the originally published version but can be read as a stand-alone book. That said, you may consider obtaining The Syntellect Hypothesis as the original coherent version of the same theoretical framework instead of waiting for all five books to come out and if you don’t need extra detailing.

The book one of The Syntellect Theory of Mind series starts with juxtaposing several prominent theories of the origins of life on Earth, and then reviews theories related to the origins of intellect: Noogenesis. The purpose of life, it seems, is to evolve and to pass on knowledge through time. From the very first prokaryote cell on this planet, its splitting in two, and on to the more complicated lifeforms, the purpose is always passing the information.

“Our world is built on biology and once we begin to understand it, it then becomes a technology” is an opening quote to NOOGENESIS: Computational Biology, The Syntellect Theory of Mind series, Vol.1. Publication Date: March 30, 2020; Written by Alex M. Vikoulov, Foreword by Antonin Tuynman, PhD; Publisher: Ecstadelic Media Group, San Francisco, CA; ISBN: 9781733426190; Price: $9.99.

Here's one of the revelatory passages from the book: "With advanced quantum computational systems in place, we could have computed the COVID-19 vaccine within hours, if not minutes, of its discovery. Perhaps, any kind of life-threatening virus, since it is nothing more than a piece of code, will be completely preventable with the advances in quantum computing and computational biology. The question is, then, if we could eventually shield ourselves against the common viral micro-threat, what would a macro-threat of unknown nature mean for the human-machine civilization? We might soon need to decode another message from the transcendent realm edging us ever closer to the Cybernetic Singularity of some sort.”

Alex M. Vikoulov is a futurist, digital philosopher, evolutionary cyberneticist, consciousness researcher, media commentator, painter and author who lives in Burlingame, CA. Self-described neo-transcendentalist, transhumanist singularitarian, and cosmist.  Recently published works include “The Syntellect Hypothesis: Five Paradigms of the Mind’s Evolution” (2020e, 2019), "The Origins of Us: Evolutionary Emergence and the Omega Point Cosmology" (2019), "The Physics of Time: D-Theory of Time & Temporal Mechanics" (2019), "The Intelligence Supernova: Essays on Cybernetic Transhumanism, The Simulation Singularity & The Syntellect Emergence" (2019), "Theology of Digital Physics: Phenomenal Consciousness, The Cosmic Self and The Pantheistic Interpretation of Our Holographic Reality" (2019). NOOGENESIS: Computational Biology examines how different species have a variety of their biological information processors which unsurprisingly results in qualia diversity. All species live in their own unique sensory universes. Consciousness and optimized information processing are the two sides of one coin. Feeling and thinking are ways we process information, but our emotional sensation is normally faster than a conscious thought. Nothing is real for us until perceived.

How did the first natural brains come to existence? What kind of subjective experience could a bat or an octopus have? Why is Homo sapiens now the dominant species on the planet? Can we formulate a new mathematically precise theory of mind based on computational and emergentistic underpinnings of biological awareness? Biological organisms, from one-celled bacteria to a human, are incredibly advanced, intricate information processing, computational systems, the products of billions of years of evolution, for all of which the term ‘Computational Biology’ is used throughout the book.
